Sports Infrastructure

• Housing Colony as part of Games Village under National Games - 2002 proposed in the area of 47.22 acres, which consists of residential built-up area of 1,33,500 Sq.m. and institutional and commercial area of 6945 Sq.m. The estimated cost of the project is 100 crores.

  This project is about development of 23 numbers of Playgrounds in MCH area. The project includes three Multi Purpose Sports Complexes (Indoor Stadiums are designed above the Swimming pools of size 25.0m x 13.0m), an International Standard Swimming Pool, One Category-II Swimming pool, Two Multipurpose outdoor stadiums, four Indoor Stadiums, development of twelve playgrounds etc.

Water Supply & Sanitation

• Consultancy Services for Detailed Investigations, Design, Preparation of Detailed Project Report and Bid Documents for Construction of Kumaradhara and Pasupudhara Dams as a source improvement Project on Tirumala Hills and Water Supply line from dam site to the filtration plant to Tirumala Town in Andhra Pradesh, India.

   

  Project involved detailed investigations and detailed design of two dams with in-take pump-house on Tirumala Hills for water supply project comprising detailed design of water supply pipeline of length 8 kms. to carry a discharge of 20 MLD with single-stage pumping from the dam site to a balancing reservoir from where the pipeline conveys the water by gravity to the filtration plant and then to a SPGH service Reservoir.

   

  Entire existing water supply network of the township was studied for assessment of demand and supply variations, transmission losses, audit of power and water by conducting yield tests for units involving heavy pumping, estimation of Un-accounted-For-Water (UFW) and suggested measures to curb transmission losses and bring the percentage of UFW down to acceptable levels. The network was analysed using EPANET-2.0 software and suggestions regarding a zoning system to be adopted for balancing the system were provided as a remodeling of entire network. Decision Support Tools were designed linking with EPANET-2 software in GIS environment for the entire water supply system after digitising the entire network.

   

  The project also envisages the provision of service road along the pipeline. The service road and pipeline has to cross very deep gorges for which suitable box culverts and steel bridge was designed for a span of 85 m.

• Rejuvenation of Nellore Cheruvu (Tank), Andhra Pradesh, India under NLCP – Preparation of DPR dealing with transmission and treatment of sewerage coming from street drains, study of proposals for lake front development, study and proposals for Revenue Generation for maintenance of the lake – as per standards of NRCD, New Delhi.
